5 proven methods how my coaching can help your relationship

Many people enter into relationships with the hope that they will find companionship, love, and support. But what happens when the relationship start to founder? Take the first step towards a happier and healthier connection and team up with me to make a real difference. But what exactly is relationship coaching, and how does it differ from couples coaching?

Before I explain the difference in the 2 processes, I give you 5 reasons (proven methods) how my life coaching can help you. As a certified life coach I'm not just someone who gives you pep talks and tell you what you want to hear. My approach is objective and unbiased, and I can help you find the root of your relationship problems so that you can work on them. After a series of inspiring sessions (alone or with your partner) you'll know how to communicate better, set clear boundaries, rebuild trust, and 'fight fair'.

1) You'll get an outside perspective

First of all I will help you see your relationship from an outside perspective, which can be incredibly helpful when you’re stuck in the middle of problems and can’t see a way out. Oftentimes, we are too close to the situation to see it clearly, however I will be able to help you identify patterns and behaviors that are unhealthy for your relationship.

2) Develop communication skills

One of the most important things in a relationship is communication, but it’s also one of the most difficult things to do well. I can help you learn how to communicate effectively with your partner so that you can express your needs and wants without triggering a fight. You’ll learn how to listen to your partner so that they feel heard, as well as how to compromise so that both of your needs are met.

3) Set your boundaries

It’s important to have boundaries in any relationship, but especially in a romantic one. I can help you figure out what your boundaries are and how to communicate them to your partner. Setting healthy boundaries will protect both of you from getting hurt emotionally or physically, and will also help keep the respect level high in your relationship.

4) Address trust issues

If there are trust issues in your relationship, I can help you address them head-on. Trust is essential for a healthy relationship, but it’s not always easy to rebuild once it’s been broken. I will help you identify the reasons why there is a lack of trust and create a plan for rebuilding it so that you can move forward together.

5) Learn how to fight fair

All couples fight, but it’s important to know how to do it in a way that doesn’t damage your relationship further. I will explain you how to disagree without being disrespectful, so that you can work through conflicts without making things worse. You’ll also learn how to apologize effectively and move on from fights quickly so that they don’t fester and cause even more damage.

Deciding if you need a relationship coach or a couples coach

What is the difference between relationship or couple coaching? Though the two types of coaching are similar, there are important distinctions. Let’s explore the differences between relationship coaching and couples coaching so that you can better understand which service is right for you and your partner.

What is Relationship Coaching?

Relationship coaching is a type of coaching that helps individuals work on their relationships with themselves and others. This can mean learning new communication skills, how to set boundaries, or resolving conflict. A relationship coach may also help you to identify your relationship goals and develop a plan to achieve them.

Relationship coaching is also geared towards helping individuals who are not currently in a relationship but who want to be. This type of coaching helps people identify and overcome the obstacles that are preventing them from attracting and sustaining a healthy, long-term relationship. Relationship coaches also help their clients develop action plans for meeting potential partners and for creating a dating profile that puts their best foot forward.

What is Couples Coaching?

As the name suggests, it is done with both partners present. Couple coaching can help you and your partner to improve communication, resolve conflict, set relationship goals and experiencing a deeper level of intimacy.

There are also some important differences in the methods that relationship coaches and couples coaches use. Relationship coaches often use individual sessions to help their clients work through issues and develop action plans. Coaching sessions with both partners, on the other hand, typically focus on developing communication skills and strategies for managing through conflict.

Which way of coaching is right for you?

If you are unhappy in your current relationship and are not sure if you want to stay in it, then relationship coaching may be a good option for you.

On the other hand, if you are in a generally happy relationship but want to work on some specific issues, couples coaching may be a better fit. Ultimately, the decision is up to you.

But if you want to invest in your relationship, either option is a great place to start.

Regardless of which type of coaching you choose, know that both approaches can help you achieve your goal of having a happy, healthy relationship.
